Parties and Parades

Any story ideas? Thanks. the 'I Love My Neighborhood' party is tonight. Every year Wilson blocks off a block and there's a moonbounce, limbo, a firetruck, and other fun stuff. Whoo- hoo! Also, the Dazzlers are performing at the 89er Day Parade. I'm a fire fighter and will wear a coat, hat, etc.
Grammy and Grampy are coming this weekend!!! We'll have fun! This weekend will be great!

Wandering, decision making, and salvation. These are what make the greatest stories. Hope that helps.

...wishes. Kids getting to make wishes usually makes for an interesting story. And not too hard for it to have something to do with wandering or salvation, either.

the metaphysical question of existential existence - or the paranormal.
Or wishes. And unicorns. Or Bicorns.

Ruthie - I'm loving this story! The description is wonderful - especially the opening about magic - I was instantly hooked. I think you should have three of the fairy godmothers be good, and three be bad, so that they can fight over how the princess turns out. Or, a la Sleeping Beauty, they could each grant a character trait on the princess: but since some of them are evil, they make the gifts contradictory, so that the princess is compelled to contradict herself. And then you could go into predestination and fatalism; can the princess overcome her predilections to certain actions, being able to control herself, or is she left to mercy of the gifts of the fairy godmothers?
Or, you could not get into all this confusion; what I've written sounds more like a philosophical treatise (mess) than it does a story.
Good luck (Providence) with whatever you choose.
Annie
